What made you want to get into this field?

Because we are spiritual beings having a human experience in this world, because we need to be the change we want to see in others, and because words matter. I have always had a strong inner passion and keenness to help others and I have come to recognize it as my true calling in life. I am deeply dedicated to helping others on their journey as well as guiding them to recognize their true-life path.

What has been your favorite aspect of this work?

Coaching spirituals, healers, executives, professionals, competitive athletes, and individuals to grow and maximize their strengths, reach their potential, and achieve results. I teach tools to increase confidence, motivation and achieve goals. I work on leadership coaching with groups, and I work with people one on one to help them find new careers, balance their lives, improve their relationships, work more effectively, clarify, and reach their desired states, raise their energetic vibrations, achieve Higher Consciousness and be at their best.

Can you explain what meditation and Reiki are and what a typical session for each is like from start to finish?

Meditation is the Greatest Secret of the Universe. Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought, mantra or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm, and stable state. Meditation has been practiced since antiquity in numerous religious traditions and beliefs, often as part of the path towards enlightenment and self-realization. Since the 19th century, it has spread from its origins to other cultures where it is commonly practiced in private and business life.

Reiki is a spiritual healing art involving the placement of hands-on, hover above the body, or distant across time and space in order to channel energy. Reiki, the Universal Life Force Energy allows everyone to tap into an unlimited supply of universal energy to improve health and enhance the quality of life.  

Reiki makes positive changes in your life that will help you experience more joy and peace, such as self-awareness, letting go of your past memories, thoughts, and Karma from your conscious and subconscious mind, releasing financial and emotional blockages and repetitive patterns. Reiki makes you grounded, centered, living in the moment and present in the Here and Now, and unblocks the energy centers, meridians, and Chakras.  Reiki reconnects you with your true higher self and your intuition, to trust life and the world again, to develop self-love and respect so you do not have to seek outside yourself for happiness.

How do you believe meditation and Reiki can be helpful in healing and general well-being?

Meditation may be used with the aim of reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and increasing peace, perception, self-concept, well-being, awakening, and spirituality. Meditation research has proved psychological, neurological, and cardiovascular health benefits and other effects.

Reiki can provide relief from mental, emotional, and physical diseases. Reiki releases stress and promotes healing and relaxation of the body, mind, and soul; it improves health and enhances the quality of life, and balances the energy centers, meridians, and Chakras.

Is there a technique or modality in your practice that you have found to be the most beneficial to the people you work with?

I have spent time gathering all of the best modalities, concepts, and techniques, spiritual and psychological with my unique intuitive style. So I developed my exclusive modality where I blended Reiki, meditation, NLP coaching, and hypnosis to help people control their body, mind and spirit, their emotional state, and their lives and to stretch their thinking in a multi-dimensional way.

What are meditation and Reiki like from the patient’s point of view?

The experiences of Meditation and Reiki are subjective, changeable, and sometimes very subtle. People often experience different sensations. Some common experiences are subtle pulsations in Reiki where the practitioner’s hands are placed or cascading waves of pulsations throughout the body, and mindfulness in meditation.

People often comment on how comforting they find the experience of Meditation and Reiki to be. An interesting study reported that recipients frequently feel that they are hovering in a threshold state of consciousness, simultaneously aware of their surroundings and deeply indrawn. Some people fall into a deep, sleeplike meditative state.

The most common experience is an almost immediate release of stress and a feeling of deep relaxation or they feel somehow better afterward.

Reiki and Meditation are cumulative and even people who do not notice much the first time usually have progressively deeper experiences if they continue. Besides the immediate experience, you may notice other changes that continue to unfold as the day goes on: perhaps stronger digestion, a sense of being more centered and poised and less reactive, and sleeping deeply that night.

What would you say to someone skeptical about meditation and Reiki and their effectiveness? How do you approach that?

Do Reiki and Meditation actually work? Does the healer or the meditation practices clear up blockages in the internal energies or it is just the placebo effect? These are the questions asked by someone skeptical about any energy work and its effectiveness. My approach is asking them to “Try it, trust the process, let Go and Let God”.

There is a saying, alternately attributed to Buddha Siddhartha Guatama Shakyamuni and the Theosophists, that goes: When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I think it is a key concept to keep in mind when an individual is ready to change and heal. So, when anyone is ready to heal, the healer will appear and not the reverse.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Besides meditation and Reiki do you have any universal health and well-being tips that you’d like to share?

I advise that each one of us practice Ho’oponopono the Hawaiian prayer that consists of four mantras, these are the special words. God sent to us all, these are the magic words God gave to us all by saying willingly, with truth to ourselves in order to clear our subconscious mind and to stop the repeating patterns:

I am sorry, for repentance and taking responsibility.

Please forgive me, for forgiveness.

Thank you, for Gratitude.

I Love you, for self-love.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to someone who is struggling, what would it be?

I recommend everyone to search within. Everything you seek and everything you experience—everything—is inside you. If you want to change anything, you do it inside, not outside. The whole idea is total responsibility. There is no one to blame. It is all you.
