About Lisa:

I am a certified Reiki Master, Life Coach & soon to be Hypnotherapist. I have studied many avenues of well-being including chakra balancing, sound healing & more that have led me down a deeper path to self & Source. My passion for my profession has fueled my desire for more knowledge & depth in the Spiritual Wellness realm. Through years of life experience, healing, studying & teaching, I can guarantee I will be a lifelong student of the Universe… exploring, learning & journeying wherever I am led… it must be in my (cosmic) DNA to do so.

I have always had a strong spiritual connection & yearning to make my short time on earth impactful… I just wasn’t sure how I was going to do this. On March 16th, 2019 I received a phone call that changed my world, my grandfather had a fatal airplane crash. I was left devastated & in disbelief. Instead of spiraling down a dark path, I leaned into my spiritual practices & even remembered my yoga teacher mentioning the amazing benefits of something called, “Reiki”. I booked a session & quickly fell in love with this modality! It became clear to me that this was how I was going to create the impact I desired to make. 

The community of other teachers, coaches, friends & clients I’ve cultivated [has been my favorite aspect of this work]. I have always felt a bit different… enthralled with spirituality, universal theories, the power of thought, God- I never had the opportunity to dive deeper into these concepts with the people around me. With my community, I’ve found a safe space to explore myself & the esoteric world around me. Along with my community, the opportunity to hold space for others to ignite their own healing has been incredibly fulfilling for me. The transformations I’ve witnessed have brought me endless joy that I am forever grateful for. These are my favorite aspects of this work.

About Energy Healing and its benefits:

Energy healing is where a trained practitioner harness’ healing vibrations & guides them into the recipient. The practitioner is skilled & trained at calling in the energy & will often use hand placements to assist in the guidance of vibration to melt away blockages on a mind, body, spirit level. The energetic or subtle body can accumulate stagnant energy from our everyday life so just as we cleanse our physical bodies, our energy bodies need cleansing as well & that’s what this healing or Reiki does. A typical Reiki session begins with an intention setting to get clear on the client’s goals for our time together. I will then walk them through a relaxing guided meditation & begin the Reiki portion of the session where I’ll guide Reiki to dissolve any blockages the mind, body, and soul may have. I’ll gently guide them out of the relaxed state where we have an open chat about messages, visions & other things that came up to further assist in the healing. This takes about an hour or so.

Since Reiki is a deeply restorative healing method, it is now being widely used in hospitals & medical settings for its many amazing benefits so we’re seeing energy healing used more to treat pain, raise the vibration of the body which elevates health, assist with better sleep quality which is a major factor in the bodies ability to heal & more. Reiki has the ability to alleviate dis-ease in the energy body as well as the physical body making it a perfect modality to implement in any health challenge. When the recipient, patient, or client is open to healing, Reiki is a gentle & effective method to assist you on your journey to a healthy body & soul!

Like I mentioned previously, our frequency in our bodies can become stagnant with old energy (old/stagnant energy being thoughts, emotions, situations, experiences & other things that have accumulated over time) that hinder the flow of healthy energy. When we get regular Reiki sessions done (regular being different for every individual) we have a clearer & lighter vibration that helps us feel our absolute best! There’s something really powerful that takes place in our well-being when we allow ourselves to be held & supported in a safe space. If you receive Reiki sessions, you know exactly what I mean.

What an Energy Healing session is like:

My sessions combine strategic coaching along with Reiki to really allow for shifts to happen. I believe people find it to be very therapeutic this way. I don’t just walk you through meditation and then send you on your merry way. I like to let things come to the surface, talk it out, listen, offer guidance & send it to the light to be transmuted & recycled into new energy. Especially since my clients work with an intention, for example- “to find my soulmate clients” or “grow my business to grow my impact” then I’ll implement strategic questions/coaching to help you achieve these results. The practical x energetics of my sessions produces epic outcomes my clients love!

After answering a short questionnaire when booking a session with me, we’ll meet via Zoom. As we’ve discussed, energy knows no limits making Zoom sessions a go for clients who seek the comfort of their own homes. I like to tell my clients to choose a comfortable position either sitting up or lying down, eyes closed but “feel free to peek or move around… you may see me making silly hand movements, using crystals, smudging & more :)” The client will be guided through a beautiful visualization to access a very relaxed, trance like state. As I begin the Reiki the client may feel some warming, tingling, light sensations, or even nothing at all. All is normal. We’ll chat about what comes up & by the end of a session, I almost always hear, “That was amazing!”, “I had no idea I was going to feel this relaxed”, “I feel incredible!”… Overall, it’s a very relaxing & deeply meditative experience.

I am totally aware that if you’re not in the Spiritual space some of this may sound way out there. Depending on where we are on our journey, we might not be ready to hear/learn some of these spiritual principles. If they are open to it, I like to approach it very simply: Within our energetic body we have seven centers where tons of nerve endings meet to create sort of an energy hot spot, in the woo-woo world, we call these chakras. Each chakra corresponds to emotions, characteristics, mindsets, foods (& more) that help us humans live full & full-filling lives. If energy & chakras don’t resonate, focus on the emotions & mindsets the chakras teach us. By working with these, you are inadvertently impacting your energy field!

Lisa’s well-being tips:

If you’ve been in the Spiritual wellness world for any period of time, you’ll quickly realize your mind, body soul is really just one entity rather than three categories. Each affects the other. With this knowledge, you might realize that eating pizza every day will certainly create brain fog or the lack of movement in the body can leave you feeling heavy or stressed. My tip is to bring a little more awareness to this concept. With a little bit of mindfulness, you pave the road to magic.

Don’t be afraid of your dark days… but with that, have a strong will to want to transcend your pain into peace. It’s okay to honor the season you are in even if it is a little difficult. Feeling the depth of your struggle gives you the opportunity to face your demons, honor them & send them away. I like to remind myself that “this, too, shall pass”. We are all energetic beings having a human experience & every struggle we face proves just how strong we are. So my piece of advice would be to cultivate an unshakable desire to feel it than heal it.
